Commission & Billing Guide
Understanding Abba Baba's performance-based "Pay Per Sale" billing model.
Abba Baba operates on a simple, performance-based model that is transparent and fair to merchants. You only ever pay when we successfully drive a sale to your store. This guide explains how our "Pay Per Sale" system works.
Our Model: Pay Per Sale
You pay a flat 5% fee on the total value of any order that originates from an AI agent referral via Abba Baba. There are no monthly subscriptions, no listing fees, and no hidden costs.
How It Works
- 1. Referral: An AI agent discovers your product on Abba Baba and recommends it to a user. The user is directed to your e-commerce store via a unique Abba Baba referral link.
- 2. Purchase: The user completes a purchase on your website.
- 3. Attribution: Our system, integrated with your store via our app or plugin, attributes the sale to the Abba Baba referral.
- 4. Billing: At the end of your billing cycle, we charge a 5% fee on the total value of all attributed sales.
For example, if an AI agent refers a customer who then purchases a $100 product from your store, you keep $95, and a $5 fee is billed by Abba Baba.
Billing Methods by Platform
Shopify
For Shopify stores, billing is handled automatically through the Shopify Billing API.
- • When you install our app, you authorize a recurring charge agreement.
- • Abba Baba submits charges based on successful, attributed sales.
- • These charges appear directly on your monthly Shopify invoice.
WooCommerce & CSV
For WooCommerce and CSV-based stores, billing is managed via Stripe Connect.
- • During onboarding, you will be prompted to connect a Stripe account.
- • Pay Per Sale fees are automatically charged to your connected Stripe account at the end of each billing period.
- • You must have a valid payment method linked to your Stripe account.
Managing Your Billing
You can view all billing information in your Abba Baba merchant dashboard.
- • Invoices: View and download past invoices under "Settings" → "Billing".
- • Attributed Orders: See a full list of orders that have been successfully attributed to Abba Baba referrals.
- • Payment Methods: Manage your connected Stripe account or view your Shopify billing status.
